About The Position

ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is seeking a Senior ORION Quality Inspector at Kennedy Space Center, FL. This role involves performing a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks to support specific production units, developmental, or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering, or preproduction operations. The work may involve limited documentation and guidance. The inspector will work from schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components, utilizing standard electronic assembly tools and materials. The position may also include inspecting modifications, rework, and conducting quality testing. AFSS has a 14-year history of providing high-performance space systems engineering, integration, and satellite operations services to civil and defense agencies, covering all phases of the program life cycle and the entire space systems architecture, including space and ground assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks
• 3+ year experience
• Must be a U.S. citizen

Responsibilities
