About The Position

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control processes, with expertise in ISO standards and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programming. This role is essential to ensure that all products meet our company's high standards of quality and precision.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection, with hands-on CMM programming expertise.
Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with PC-DMIS or Calypso software.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies to verify conformance to specifications.
Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to conduct precise measurements and inspections.
Create, edit, and maintain CMM programs to support production and quality control activities.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards, participating in internal and external audits.
Document and report inspection results, identifying and addressing non-conformances.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
