About The Position

ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS) is seeking an ORION Material Handler Technician, Associate to work at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. The technician performs material-handling functions, including handling and kitting critical flight hardware, and performs duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. The position also involves constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, diagnosing, and maintaining equipment, components, devices, or systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional technical training sufficient to perform required basic calculations, electronic/mechanical assembly and testing, computer operations, and related tasks.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to meet contract requirements.
• Must successfully complete a government background investigation.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• CDL A preferred.
