About The Position

The Organizational Effectiveness Internship experience is an 11-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 24th, 2027, and concludes on August 4th, 2027. This is a hybrid position with 3 days (generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in the Hartford, CT office location. The other 2 days each week will be working remotely from home, office, or another location of your choice. CVS Health's hybrid work model provides office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. Relocation assistance may be provided for candidates that qualify. As a CVS Health Corporate Intern you will participate in: Projects that contribute to the success of our business, Community service activities, Professional development workshops, Mentorship and networking opportunities, Interaction with senior leaders. The hourly rate is $26/hr with 40 hours/week, no work on July 4th (company holiday), and two days of paid leave. Additionally, our corporate interns have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a future role with CVS Health. Sponsorship: Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree
  • Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2027 and June 2028
  • Have a major relevant to the position such as Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Public Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

  • Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include: active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects
  • Internship, work, or project experience in a related field
  • An interest in obtaining a full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation
  • Experience with project coordination, organization, and time management activities

Responsibilities

  • Supporting change management initiatives through stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, and adoption planning
  • Developing communication materials including leadership updates, presentations, FAQs, and employee communications
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of employee engagement, culture, and recognition initiatives
  • Building project management skills through meeting coordination, action tracking, documentation, and status reporting
  • Analyzing survey results, stakeholder feedback, and organizational metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Supporting training and adoption activities through the development of training materials, job aids, and feedback collection processes
  • Creating reports, dashboards, and presentation materials that communicate project progress and business outcomes
  • Collaborating with leaders and cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and organizational change efforts
