About The Position

In conjunction with higher-level Organizational Development staff, participates in the design, development, and implementation of limited scope/complexity employee-level organizational development (OD), training programs, and strategies. Supports the research, development, and implementation of organizational development tools, practices, and programs. Supports the creation and development of a strong organizational culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education or related field.
  • Up to one year of experience as an Organizational Development Specialist or equivalent experience in adult learning or organizational development.
  • Basic knowledge of and the ability to learn apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles.
  • Basic knowledge of e-learning and content development software, such as Articulate, Captivate, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of learning management software.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in adult learning, organizational development, industrial-organizational psychology, human resources or related field preferred.
  • Certified Professional Trainer preferred (or substantial progress towards designation) preferred.
  • Certified in behavioral assessment tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with higher-level OD staff, participates in basic design and development of limited scope/routine corporate training and OD programs.
  • Facilitates/co-facilitates limited scope training and OD programs.
  • Develops basic content with e-learning tools.
  • Facilitates new hire orientation.
  • Coordinates and manages relationships with external vendors supporting the delivery of OD and training programs.
  • Support the administration of the Organizational Development department, including coordination of OD activities, scheduling, and vendor and accounts payable activities.
  • Utilizes feedback data to analyze impact of training and OD activities.
  • Keeps abreast of changes and trends in talent, organizational development, and consulting practices; surfaces meaningful recommendations for improvements that will positively impact the organization and its culture.
