About The Position

We are looking for an Organizational Change Specialist to join our growing change team. This hybrid position, based out of our Maple Plain location, will support key change initiatives to help employees successfully adopt new processes, technologies, and ways of working. This role is ideal for an early-career professional or someone looking to transition into HR, Change Management, Learning & Development, or Project/Program Management. We value transferable skills, curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for collaboration, problem-solving, and supporting organizational transformation in a fast-paced environment. You don’t need direct change management experience to succeed in this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Change Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field — or comparable experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in any industry or function.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing environments.
  • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools including SharePoint, Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), and Outlook; familiarity with AI technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrated empathy, curiosity, and a passion for helping people navigate change.
  • U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident (green card holder) or foreign national granted refugee or asylee status.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of change management strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Assist in conducting impact assessments and readiness evaluations to identify potential risks and barriers.
  • Help build change plans that address the people side of organizational transformation.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Support the facilitation of workshops, meetings, and engagement sessions to promote understanding and commitment.
  • Partner across teams and functions to ensure coordination on change activities.
  • Design and deliver clear, targeted messaging plans for impacted audiences.
  • Develop training materials in partnership with the Learning & Development function and coordinate learning sessions to support adoption.
  • Craft content that is accessible, engaging, and tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Track progress of change initiatives and measure adoption rates.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to leadership on change effectiveness.
  • Identify gaps in adoption and recommend strategies to address them.
  • Identify lessons learned and best practices for future change initiatives.
  • Support the development of a change management culture within the organization.
  • Help create and grow a Community of Practice to transform how Protolabs approaches change.
