The Organ Preservation Coordinator is responsible for the aseptic recovery of various tissues, including eyes, bones, ligaments, tendons, heart valves, saphenous vessels, and skin, following departmental policies. This role involves coordinating the recovery, preservation, and transportation of donated organs, performing organ preservation using appropriate machines, and ensuring all recovered organs and tissues meet regulatory requirements. The coordinator also performs donor evaluations, coordinates logistics for recovery teams, and maintains the organ, tissue, and eye labs.
