About The Position

Dawn Foods is hiring an Order Selector to participate in distribution warehouse activities involving receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivering products. The role helps ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday: Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. or until finished, and Monday through Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. or until finished. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates, and pallet wrap machines.
• At least 6 months of related experience or 1 year of non-related employment experience.
• Ability to repeatedly lift more than 50 pounds.
• Ability to tolerate potential allergens, including peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, and soy.
• Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures.
• Availability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Select, palletize, and shrink-wrap customer orders for delivery.
• Receive and stock inbound product in designated locations.
• Rotate and replenish stock in designated locations.
• Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion.
• Use handheld computers and scanning devices for SAP warehouse operations.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow safe food-handling procedures.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.
