About The Position

The Order Selector completes customer orders by selecting products from warehouse racks and assembling, palletizing, and/or shrink-wrapping products and pallets. The role may require the use of powered industrial equipment and work in dry, cooled, refrigerated, or freezer product areas. The position is based at 2330 Roosevelt Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78210, with a Sunday–Friday schedule beginning at 6:00 AM and continuing until finish. Pay is $20.50 per hour.

Requirements

Perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
Safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures.
Work in assigned multi-temperature areas, including freezer, cooler, and dry conditions.
Follow verbal and written instructions.
Meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.
Work weekends, holidays, day or night hours, and overtime as necessary and assigned.
Work in the specified conditions for assigned 8–10-hour shifts.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior order selecting experience preferred.
Prior experience operating powered industrial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of grocery, frozen, dairy, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork, and related products in specified quantities, using order sheets or an audio headset.
Operate powered industrial equipment, such as single and double pallet jacks.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including inspecting powered industrial equipment with a safety checklist.
Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock or low-volume products.
Use proper wrapping techniques to protect products from damage.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
