About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring an Order Puller / Forklift Operator in Aurora, Colorado. The role involves operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment, using wireless RF scanning equipment, moving and handling warehouse materials, and preparing orders for shipment. The position offers weekly pay of $20.50, direct deposit or debit card payment, insurance coverage, training, and overtime availability. A personal car is required to access the worksite.

Requirements

Able to operate a cherry picker, sit-down, stand-up, and side-by-side forklifts or other hand trucks.
Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and maneuver heavy items.
Able to pass a background check.
Able to pass a drug screening that includes TC.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Proficient in mathematics.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and a high regard for workplace safety.
Current forklift license and certification.
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.
Personal car required to access the worksite.

Nice To Haves

Load and unload experience preferred.
Knowledge of various material-handling equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

Operate cherry picker, sit-down, stand-up, and side-by-side forklifts or other hand trucks.
Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy.
Move materials between the warehouse, workstations, pickup locations, and other locations.
Meet company quality and customer service standards.
Perform cycle counts as required.
Pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment.
Inspect and perform maintenance on forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Follow and update inventory activity, lists, and records, and log completed tasks.
Identify workplace safety hazards.
Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods.
