About The Position

Prysmian is hiring an Order Puller/ Stand-up Forklift Operator to move and stack products and materials safely in a production setting. The role involves operating a stand-up reach forklift, completing routine pre- and post-operation equipment inspections, stacking empty pallets and reels, following OSHA-related safety policies and procedures, and reporting unsafe activities. The employee must follow supervisor directions and meet the requirements of assigned jobs, including maintaining reliable attendance.

The position is located at 910 Elm St, McKinney, Texas, 75069, and has a schedule of 6 PM to 6 AM. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with a $2 shift premium. Overtime opportunities are available at time and a half. Applicants must pass a driven forklift exam and undergo an onsite drug screen.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of stand-up reach forklift experience.
• Experience moving large loads.
• Ability to perform the listed essential duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to safely move full and empty pallets with a forklift in the working area.
• Reliable attendance.
• Must pass a driven forklift exam.
• Must undergo an onsite drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting, and/or standing.
• Comfort with repetitive movement, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up reach forklift.
• Move or stack products and materials to specified locations safely.
• Perform routine pre- and post-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
• Stack empty pallets, reels, and similar items.
• Comply with safety policies, practices, and procedures according to OSHA.
• Report unsafe activities to a supervisor and/or the safety team.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
• Follow supervisor directions and additional requirements for assigned jobs.
• Move full and empty pallets safely within the working area.
• Identify when routine maintenance may be needed.
