About The Position

Order Processing Specialist is responsible for accurately processing customer orders, maintaining organized records, and supporting communication between customers and internal departments. This role requires strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, and proficiency in Excel to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills for customer support and order updates
  • High accuracy in data entry and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, Pivot Tables)
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Enter and process customer purchase orders accurately
  • Communicate with customers about order status, product availability, and shipping updates
  • Work with warehouse, purchasing, and accounting teams to ensure orders ship on time
  • Process billing, invoicing, and incoming inventory transactions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot EDI order issues (training provided)
  • Maintain organized and accurate customer, inventory, and order records
  • Use Excel to create reports, analyze data, and manage information
