About The Position

The Order Picker pulls customer orders to the delivery platform, ensuring the right products reach the right customers on time and without damage. The role is responsible for order completeness and accuracy and for meeting company standards for safety, security, and output. Products include durable medical goods such as canes, wheelchairs, in-home hospital beds, and respiratory products. The position supports team performance in safety, quality, service, and people.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic math skills.
Basic computer skills, including use of a PC, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), and RF scanners.
Ability to use material movement equipment such as cherry pickers and pallet jacks.
SAP or Warehouse Management System experience.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

Pull orders according to the RF scanner and recheck them for accuracy.
Address misprints, false quantities, and closed-carton orders.
Inspect items for quality and quantity, including evidence of dust, paint, or dents.
Report products that do not meet quality standards to the floor supervisor.
Properly palletize items picked from storage.
Wrap or box items according to instructions and ensure remaining products in bins are effectively wrapped.
Remove old or unnecessary stickers from boxes and discard them properly.
Support and participate in a continuous-improvement environment.
Follow safety requirements and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
