About The Position

The Order Picker supports the acquisition, storage, and distribution of food products by completing accurate, timely warehouse order work. The role includes picking and packing product; loading, unloading, and staging inventory; building pallets as items are pulled; shrink-wrapping and tagging skids for delivery; unloading food-drive and individual donations as needed; preparing donor receipts; applying First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) practices to each transaction; and maintaining sanitation and safe work practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Food safety certification, or ability to obtain it.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience using propane or electric forklifts and 4-foot or 8-foot electric pallet jack/riders.
• Proficiency with scanning equipment, quality control, and general warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math and counting ability.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities
