Order Picker 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm M-F) Up to $24/hr.
About The Position
The Order Picker works in the Shipping department and reports to the Shipping Supervisor. The role fulfills sales orders by selecting finished goods, staging them for packaging, and documenting completion and order notes in the ERP system. The Order Picker communicates fulfillment issues and product shortages to a Supervisor or Team Lead and performs other duties as assigned. This is a second-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with pay up to $24 per hour. The position is based in a manufacturing environment where machinery, chemicals, dust, and noise may be present. Protective clothing and equipment may be required. Requirements
- Able to read and interpret quality documents.
- Able to apply common-sense reasoning to carry out instructions.
- Able to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Regularly able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally able to lift and move up to 100 pounds.
- Able to tolerate long periods of standing.
Responsibilities
- Read and analyze orders to be fulfilled.
- Select finished goods listed on each sales order and stage them for packaging.
- Mark orders complete and update order notes in the ERP system.
- Inform the Supervisor or Team Lead of order-fulfillment issues or product shortages.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Lead.
