About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring Order Pickers for a snack manufacturing and distribution center in Coppell, Texas. The role involves accurately picking and preparing customer orders, handling products for shipment, operating warehouse equipment, and supporting inventory and general warehouse operations. Candidates must be flexible and available to work either shift as needed, with Saturday availability required. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with Saturday availability required. The first shift runs from 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM, and the second shift runs from 1:45 PM to 10:30 PM. Pay is $18.50 per hour, paid weekly. This is described as a long-term opportunity with potential for growth.

Requirements

Previous order-picking experience is required.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout an 8-hour workday.
Ability to read and understand production documents and safety manuals.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Strong physical dexterity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work both shifts and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

Review order notes and accurately fulfill customer delivery orders.
Pick products using barcodes, serial numbers, and order sheets.
Shrink-wrap, label, and prepare merchandise for shipment.
Safely operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment.
Load delivery vehicles and organize products for distribution.
Update inventory records and replenish stock as needed.
Perform general warehouse duties while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
