About The Position

Taylor Corporation is seeking an advanced Order Picker to operate a turret truck at its Jeffersonville, Indiana facility. The role works first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime and weekends as required. The employee must be willing to train on and operate a turret truck at heights up to 35 feet. The position involves accurately picking customer orders, checking quality, verifying and replenishing stock, repackaging orders, maintaining records, and keeping the work area safe and clean. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Taylor notes that duties may be changed or reassigned.

Requirements

Must be able to use a ring scanner, manual equipment, and powered material-handling equipment such as an order picker or lift.
Must be willing to train on and operate a turret truck and be comfortable working at heights up to 35 feet.
Must be able to read and count accurately and perform simple math.
Must be detail-oriented.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining and enhancing department goals.
Must communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
Must be self-motivated and able to multitask.
Certifications are required for use of powered equipment.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Regularly remain in a stationary position; constantly operate machinery and handle products, including print materials; frequently move inside the facility; and regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ pounds.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
