About The Position

John F. Martin & Sons, LLC is hiring a warehouse order picker at its Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania location. The role is responsible for safely and accurately gathering customer orders, selecting cases at an efficient pace, and palletizing orders as specified to support customer service. The position involves handling outbound shipments, warehouse paperwork, and powered material-handling equipment. It is safety-sensitive, and offers are contingent on passing a pre-employment physical and drug screening. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with an 8-hour shift and overtime. The warehouse is refrigerated at approximately 34°F. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with salary based on experience. Benefits are available after 60 days.

Select orders accurately and at an efficient pace.
Meet the physical demands of the role, including talking, hearing, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and operating equipment as needed.
Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Manage pick orders, label products correctly, prepare pick sheets, and assist with loading and unloading export containers.
Verify outbound shipments, ensure goods are damage-free, and apply accurate product labels before shipment.
Operate mechanized equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, and process orders effectively.
Organize orders for shipment and operate shrink-wrap and other material-handling machines.
Evaluate order quantities and ensure product weights are correctly entered for shipments.
Maintain warehouse security and prepare paperwork for various agencies.
