About The Position

Order Picker Operators sort, stage, and transport products into and out of a warehouse. They work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision, while following company safety policies and procedures. The role is full time and follows a weekend schedule: Thursday and Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. The warehouse may be non-temperature-controlled, with indoor temperatures fluctuating throughout the seasons.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least one year of experience operating a stand-up or order picker/cherry picker forklift.
• Experience with RF equipment.
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically exerting tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
• Ability to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse experience in a high-volume environment.
• Familiarity with and ability to use order management systems such as WMS.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with company or site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Use handheld scanners and other equipment to comply with the warehouse management system.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Help keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
