About The Position

The Material Handler supports efficient operations by accurately picking and staging lumber, masonry, and building materials for customer orders and deliveries. The role provides polite, professional customer service and helps customers in the yard and warehouse. It also involves safely loading and unloading trucks, handling, stacking, and storing materials to maintain product integrity and minimize damage. The employee maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including general housekeeping, facility upkeep, and proper signage placement. The position supports inventory and transfers by pulling and staging products, processing paperwork, and promptly reporting discrepancies or damaged items. Safety duties include completing forklift inspections, maintaining required certifications, and following OSHA and company safety regulations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Forklift certification.
Experience operating machinery.
Knowledge of building materials.
Ability to lift 80 pounds above head.
