We are seeking an Order Management Specialist to join our team in Cincinnato, Ohio. This role is responsible for replenishment, execution, and inventory management for assigned company items across designated Distribution Centers. The specialist will partner with various teams including Supply Chain Planning, Category Management, divisions, DCs, transportation, and vendor supply teams to ensure service, in-stock performance, order vs. ship performance, inventory health, and reliable product flow. Key responsibilities include following replenishment processes, utilizing shared planning data, and making informed purchase order and inventory decisions to meet service and inventory objectives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma
  • At least 2 years experience relevant experience (Distribution/Manufacturing)
  • Experience in replenishment, supply planning, demand planning, vendor managed inventory, supply chain, merchandising, procurement, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting retail replenishment, DC ordering, vendor supply planning, inventory management, or category/transportation partnership.
  • Experience using replenishment systems, purchase order systems, reporting tools, or planning platforms.
  • Experience in replenishment buying, vendor replenishment, supply chain planning, demand planning, operations, merchandising, logistics, or similar field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage assigned items across multiple DCs, POVs, suppliers, categories, or business partners.
  • Ability to use data to assess inventory position, service risk, order status, and replenishment performance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and business reporting tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining accountability for assigned vendor items and replenishment outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Replenishment execution for assigned company items across designated DC’s
  • Operate within replenishment systems and processes, support accurate order creation, PO execution, and inventory management.
  • Write, review, and maintain purchase orders for turn, promotional, new item, seasonal, and related demand.
  • Maintain accurate planning inputs, including lead times, order cycles, minimums, order quantities, truck scaling, and other replenishment settings.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, including in-stock, Order vs. Ship, sufficiency, days of supply, aged inventory, excess inventory, and service reliability.
  • Identify and communicate supply risks, capacity constraints, production issues, logistics delays, quality concerns, missed loads, rejected product, allocation constraints, and recovery actions.
  • Collaborate with planning, category, division, DC, transportation, and vendor supply teams to resolve replenishment issues and protect store in-stock.
  • Review ad plans, display plans, promotional projections, and item-level demand changes to ensure assigned items are supported appropriately.
  • Partner with demand planners and planning teams to review forecast accuracy, identify gaps, and provide forward-looking insight on promotions, supply limitations, and demand shifts.
  • Support new item execution, item transitions, pack changes, bonus packs, discontinued items, seasonal programs, and vendor switches.
  • Manage order adjustments, delivery rescheduling, and recovery plans when supply, quality, capacity, or transportation issues impact product flow.
  • Ensure vendor-side replenishment actions align with planning policies, inventory guardrails, and agreed processes for constrained supply, allocations, and limited-time out of stock.
  • Utilize data for replenishment, inventory management, and joint business performance improvement while maintaining confidentiality and complying with access requirements.
  • Provide root cause analysis and corrective action plans when assigned items miss service, inventory, aged inventory, or replenishment expectations.
  • Support recurring business reviews, performance discussions, and issue-resolution meetings with vendor teams.
  • Maintain consistent coverage for assigned items, including trained backup support and timely responsiveness when service is at risk.
  • Maintain flexibility to support urgent replenishment issues during weekends, holidays, or off-hours when needed.
