Order Management Specialist
About The Position
Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) is seeking an Order Management Specialist to join their Business Development team. This role is crucial for post-sale execution, involving daily order operations and the development of scalable order management processes. The specialist will manage accurate order entry, process change orders, monitor real-time order statuses, and proactively address delays by coordinating with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure efficient and accurate product shipment and delivery. The Product Engineering Team, where this role is situated, focuses on transforming innovative ideas into real-world products for Excellerate Products™, a division of FTI. They design Data Center power distribution products, Electric Vehicle charging skids, switchboards, and more, with a strong emphasis on quality, manufacturability, and customer outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (GED with equivalent working experience)
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in order management, fulfillment, or post-sale operations, supported by a background in supply chain, customer success, or sales operations within a technically complex manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement standardized order management processes and workflows to improve efficiency from purchase order receipt through final delivery
- Manage the accurate and timely entry of complex manufacturing orders into the ERP system
- Ensure all product components are properly created, configured, and recorded within the ERP system
- Process and manage change orders, ensuring updates are communicated clearly to production and logistics teams to avoid delays
- Monitor order status end-to-end, serving as a central point of contact for sales teams and external customers
- Proactively identify potential production or supply chain issues, develop mitigation plans, and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate, schedule, and verify shipments and final deliveries
