Order Fulfillment Specialist Full Time
About The Position
The Order Fulfillment Specialist performs general warehouse and order-picking activities and supports BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role uses a handheld RF scanner to pick and verify merchandise, moves orders from the sales floor to the staging area, and packages orders securely according to standard operating procedures. The specialist works to meet productivity expectations, service-level agreements, and order deadlines while maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area. The role also includes communicating inventory and equipment issues, reporting expired or short-dated items, coordinating replenishment with club teams, processing returns, and handling damaged or spoiled products in accordance with procedures. Team members are expected to follow club policies and safety standards, provide friendly member service, support a positive and inclusive environment, and work in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists and process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner.
- Use a handheld RF scanner to pick orders from the sales floor and verify merchandise.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
- Communicate inventory or equipment problems and report expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
- Coordinate merchandise replenishment with the club team and work to obtain items from the reserve area when possible.
- Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, and performance metrics.
- Follow operational efficiency and productivity standards and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when metrics are not met.
- Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
- Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; remove trash and cardboard from the work area.
- Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine whether they should be handled through DDR or the Membership desk.
- Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code and safety standards.
- Deliver friendly service, address member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
