About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities supporting BJ’s Wholesale Club’s digital order services, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld scanner, moving merchandise to staging, and securely packaging orders in accordance with standard procedures. The associate helps ensure orders are completed on time and meet productivity and service-level requirements, communicates inventory or equipment issues, and coordinates replenishment with club teams.

The associate also maintains a clean, organized, and safe OMNI/SFC work area; handles returns, damaged goods, and spoiled products according to procedures; follows club policies and dress-code standards; and may work in other departments as assigned. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. The schedule is any weekday between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. and/or weekends.

Requirements

• Regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier and/or awkward objects may need to be lifted and moved with assistance.
• Ability to move continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order-pulling experience.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
• Previous RF scanner experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise and counts.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Complete orders in a timely manner while meeting productivity expectations, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and deadlines.
• Communicate inventory and equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs to the appropriate team members.
• Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Follow operational processes and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Keep the SFC area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods, spoiled products, and returns in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress-code standards.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support a safe, positive, inclusive, and member-focused environment and deliver service excellence.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
