About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities for BJ’s Wholesale Club’s digital order fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves picking merchandise from a pick list with a handheld RF scanner, verifying items and quantities, moving orders from the sales floor to the staging area, and securely packaging orders according to standard procedures. Associates communicate inventory, equipment, expired-item, and replenishment issues; work to meet productivity targets and deadlines; and follow operational processes and club policies. They also maintain a clean, safe, and organized OMNI/SFC work area, handle damaged or spoiled goods and returns, and may work in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise and quantities.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs.
• Coordinate with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales floor replenishment.
• Pick orders in a timely manner and meet productivity expectations, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and deadlines.
• Follow operational efficiencies, processes, and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Keep the SFC area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping duties and remove trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Deliver friendly, courteous service and help resolve member concerns while maintaining a safe and positive environment.
• Work collaboratively to uphold GOLD member and club standards, including keeping order storage bins clean and organized.
• Perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
