About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse and order-fulfillment activities, including pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying items and counts with a handheld RF scanner, and moving orders from the sales floor to a staging area. The role supports BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club (SFC), and requires meeting productivity expectations and service-level agreements.

The associate packages orders securely, communicates inventory and equipment issues, and coordinates replenishment with club teams. The position also includes maintaining an orderly SFC and storage area, handling returns and damaged or spoiled products according to procedures, and performing housekeeping duties. Team members are expected to provide friendly service, follow club policies and safety standards, work collaboratively, and maintain regular, predictable attendance. The schedule listed is Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• May need to lift and move heavy or awkward objects over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to work in an environment with moving machinery or loud equipment and occasional temperature extremes when pulling refrigerated orders.
• Ability to perform duties involving bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.

• Previous order-pulling experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and use an RF handheld scanner to select and verify orders.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and replenishment needs to the appropriate club team.
• Coordinate with the team to pull merchandise from reserve areas when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and deadlines.
• Follow operational processes and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the SFC area and order-storage bins clean, organized, and maintained according to safety standards.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and dress code standards.
• Deliver friendly service, address or escalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Work collaboratively, maintain a positive attitude, and take responsibility for individual performance.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
