About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities and supports BJ’s digital order initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role involves pulling merchandise from pick lists, verifying orders with a handheld scanner, moving merchandise to a staging area, and operating equipment. Associates work to meet productivity expectations and service-level deadlines while following operational procedures and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. They also deliver friendly member service, follow club policies, and may perform other duties or work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Must meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.

• Previous order-pulling experience.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
• Previous RF scanner experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Use handheld RF scanner devices to pick orders and verify merchandise.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and replenishment needs to the appropriate club team members.
• Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Pick orders in a timely manner and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Follow established operational processes, efficiencies, productivity standards, and SOPs for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them via DDR or the Membership desk.
• Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Deliver service excellence, address or escalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe, positive member experience.
• Work collaboratively, maintain a friendly and positive attitude, and support club standards.
• Attend work regularly and predictably.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
