About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse and digital order-fulfillment activities, including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving items from the sales floor to a staging area, using a handheld scanner to verify merchandise and update locations, and operating equipment. The role supports digital initiatives such as BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Associates are expected to provide friendly service, follow club policies and procedures, maintain a safe and organized workplace, and work collaboratively to meet productivity and service expectations.

Requirements

• Previous order-pulling experience preferred.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to meet Omni productivity expectations, including service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds continuously; lifting and moving heavier or awkward objects over 30 pounds may be required with assistance.
• Ability to move continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and use an RF handheld scanner to select and verify orders.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise information as required.
• Report inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and replenishment needs to the appropriate team members.
• Coordinate with the team to pull merchandise from reserve areas when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, deadlines, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods, spoiled products, and returns according to standard operating procedures, including determining whether returns go through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies, procedures, dress code, safety requirements, and applicable operating standards.
• Provide courteous, friendly service; address or escalate member concerns and help maintain a safe, positive member experience.
• Work with club leadership to address individual performance when metrics are not met.
• Perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
