Order Fulfillment Associate Part Time
About The Position
The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities for BJ’s digital order initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role pulls merchandise from pick lists, verifies items and quantities with a handheld RF scanner, moves orders from the sales floor to a staging area, and securely packages orders according to standard procedures. The associate works to meet productivity expectations and service-level deadlines, communicates inventory or equipment issues, and helps maintain an orderly, safe work area and a positive member experience. The position’s stated schedule is any weekday or weekend between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. The associate follows club policies, procedures, and safety standards; works collaboratively with club teams and leadership; and may perform duties in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Requirements

- Ability to continuously move about on hard surfaces and perform activities that may include bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.
- Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be lifted and moved with assistance.

- Previous RF scanner experience.
Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from pick lists using a handheld RF scanner and verify merchandise and counts.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and update merchandise locations using the scanner.
- Communicate inventory and equipment problems, as well as expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
- Coordinate with club team members to replenish merchandise or retrieve items from the reserve area when possible.
- Pick orders in a timely manner and meet productivity expectations, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and deadlines.
- Follow operational processes and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Work with club leadership on individual performance when metrics are not met.
- Securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
- Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; remove trash and cardboard; and handle damaged or spoiled products according to procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine how they should be handled, including via DDR or the Membership desk.
- Maintain club policies and procedures, including dress code and safety standards.
- Support a safe, positive, inclusive, and friendly environment and address or escalate member concerns as appropriate.
- Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
