About The Position

Responsible for general warehouse and order-fulfillment activities, including pulling merchandise from pick lists, moving items from the sales floor to a staging area, verifying merchandise with a handheld scanner, and operating equipment. The role supports BJ’s digital initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Associates are expected to provide friendly service, follow club policies and procedures, maintain safe and organized work areas, and collaborate with team members to meet productivity and service standards.

Requirements

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to meet OMNI productivity expectations for service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.

Nice To Haves

• Previous order-pulling experience.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
• Previous experience using an RF scanner.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Use a handheld RF scanner to select orders from the sales floor, verify merchandise, and update merchandise locations.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs to the appropriate team members.
• Coordinate with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid replenishing from the sales floor.
• Pick orders promptly and meet productivity requirements, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and deadlines.
• Follow operational processes, productivity standards, and established procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and dress code standards.
• Deliver service excellence, address or escalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Work collaboratively to achieve team goals and maintain GOLD member and club standards.
• Attend work regularly and predictably and perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
