About The Position

We are seeking an Order Fulfillment Associate for a 6+ month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion. This role is based in Merritt Island, FL. The associate will be responsible for various aspects of the fulfillment process, including receiving and inspecting shipments, performing quality control checks, documenting receipts, data entry into an inventory management tool, packaging, sorting, staging, labeling, and assigning storage for parts.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including receiving and inventory functions.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• World-class quality attitude, attention to detail, and dedication.
• Analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to derive inventory requirements from drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and unload deliveries.
• Visually inspect incoming packages for acceptability.
• Perform quality control checks based on part number requirements and standard operating procedures.
• Document receipts using tools and equipment, and close out receipts or work orders.
• Enter data into an inventory management tool.
• Identify and apply appropriate packaging for parts.
• Sort and stage packages and storage containers.
• Label and mark parts with necessary identifiers.
• Properly store parts according to standard operating procedures and good judgment.
