About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse activities and supports BJ’s digital order fulfillment initiatives, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role includes pulling merchandise from pick lists, using handheld RF scanners to verify merchandise and counts, moving items to a staging area, and securely packaging orders. The associate helps meet productivity expectations and service-level deadlines, communicates inventory or equipment issues, and maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area. The role also includes supporting members and club operations, following established procedures and policies, processing returns, and working in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to meet OMNI productivity expectations related to service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.

• Previous order-pulling experience.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
• Previous RF scanner experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Use handheld RF scanner devices to pick orders and verify merchandise.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and communicate inventory, equipment, expired-item, and replenishment issues to the appropriate club team members.
• Meet order-picking deadlines, productivity requirements, service-level agreements, and individual performance goals.
• Follow operational processes and standard operating procedures for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Keep the Ship from Club area neat, clean, and organized; remove trash and cardboard and perform general housekeeping.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how they should be handled, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and dress code standards.
• Deliver friendly member service, address or escalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Work collaboratively with the team, support club standards, and perform other duties or work in other departments as assigned.
• Maintain regular, predictable, and full attendance.
