About The Position

The Order Fulfillment Associate performs general warehouse and order-picking activities for BJ’s Wholesale Club’s digital fulfillment services, including BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. The role pulls merchandise from pick lists, verifies products and quantities using a handheld RF scanner, moves orders from the sales floor to staging, and packages orders according to standard procedures. Associates work to meet order deadlines, service-level agreements, productivity standards, and individual performance goals.

The position also supports member service and club operations by communicating inventory, equipment, and replenishment issues; processing returns; maintaining a clean, safe, and organized Omni or Ship from Club area; and following club policies, procedures, dress code, and safety standards. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Other duties may be assigned, including work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 30 pounds; heavier or awkward objects may need to be lifted or moved with assistance.
• Ability to move continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

• Previous order-pulling experience.

• Previous RF scanner experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from pick lists and use a handheld RF scanner to select and verify orders.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and securely package orders according to standard operating procedures.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, expired or short-dated items, and merchandise replenishment needs.
• Coordinate with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible to avoid sales-floor replenishment.
• Pick orders promptly to meet deadlines, productivity expectations, service-level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Follow operational processes and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership when performance metrics are not met.
• Maintain a neat, clean, organized, and safe Omni or Ship from Club work area, including cleaning storage bins and removing trash and cardboard.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine how they should be handled, including through DDR or the Membership desk.
• Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Support member service by acting with honesty and integrity, addressing or escalating concerns, and helping maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Work collaboratively to achieve club standards and perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
