About The Position

The McGuire Group is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry LPN / Pharmacy Technician to join its centralized team in Hamburg, NY. This office-based position involves collaborating with pharmacy teams, medical providers, and facility nurses to accurately enter and audit physician orders in electronic health records. Training is provided. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, at Autumn View Health Care Facility. Pay is $26–$27.50 per hour depending on experience, with an additional $1.50 per hour for hours worked between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Pharmacy Technician.
Have medication knowledge or a related background.
Have strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
Have excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Be able to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Have strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Enter and audit computerized physician orders within electronic health records.
Review medication orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
Collaborate with pharmacy teams, medical providers, and facility nursing staff.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records.
Identify and communicate order discrepancies to appropriate clinical staff.
Follow established medication protocols, documentation standards, and facility procedures.
Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
