About The Position

The Order Coordinator position was created to expand on Atlantic’s versatility in the market while also helping to achieve our customer experience goals as a broader organization. The Order Coordinator will work with internal departments and the front-end to make customer requested changes, assist in facilitating key moves by way of cross-collaboration with other departments and will play an instrumental role in providing our Customer Service team with all information they require in order to keep their focus driven to our clientele.

Requirements

  • College Diploma or equivalent experience in order coordination, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in order coordination, logistics, or a related role.
  • Proven ability to manage order documentation, tracking, and follow-ups with a high level of accuracy.
  • Advanced experience working cross-functionally with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in order management platforms, data analysis tools, and process automation.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively communicate across departments and with external partners.
  • Analytical mindset to assess inventory, tooling requirements, and order statuses to ensure accurate fulfillment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to facilitate process improvements and maintain high operational standards.
  • Customer experience focuses on ensuring that queries are fulfilled accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of internal client satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience(s) within the corrugated packaging industry is an asset.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and optimize workflows using digital solutions is an asset.
  • Knowledge of advanced material considerations is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all scales of order modifications, including date, plant and die transfers; handle intercompany transfers (local and cross-border).
  • Assist in executing on all scale expediting requirements.
  • Track aged items and manage updates to specifications, tooling and inventory to address obsolescence both in house and with outside vendors.
  • Coordinate spec and tooling updates with estimating, handle alternative routing and flysheet adjustments with cross-functional groups.
  • Oversee documentation follow-ups for invoices, shipping (e.g., BOLs), and investigations, including RGA and credit processes.
  • Manage mass and regular farmouts, including spec reviews, PO creation, tooling transfers, vendor communication, and invoice validation.
  • Process account changes for open orders and coordinate updates with relevant teams for delivery, invoicing and production.
  • Inactivate/reactivate specs and tooling; manage account-specific requests and RFQ processes.
