About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Orbital Welder to join our aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up, program, and operate orbital welding equipment to produce precision-welded components that meet strict aerospace quality standards. Requirements

Minimum 2 years of aerospace welding experience required
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
Proficient with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers)
Ability to hold tight tolerances in a production environment
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable welding certifications
High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with orbital welding equipment strongly preferred
AWS or equivalent aerospace welding certification preferred

Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate orbital welding equipment to weld and join precision metal components
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to meet weld specifications and tolerances
Manufacture and maintain tooling for orbital weld heads
Make your own setups independently, fixture selection, parameter configuration, and pre-weld inspection
Use micrometers and calipers to verify dimensional accuracy and maintain tight tolerances
Perform in-process inspections to ensure welds meet aerospace standards and customer specifications
Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with all safety and PPE requirements
