About The Position

The Simphony Inventory Management Workstream Lead is responsible for leading the design, configuration, integration, and deployment of Oracle MICROS Simphony Inventory Management across a large-scale, multi-unit restaurant environment. This role serves as the functional and operational leader for inventory transformation initiatives, driving standardization of back-of-house (BOH) processes, ingredient-level inventory management, recipe costing, production planning, waste tracking, and cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) visibility across restaurant operations. Working closely with Operations, Culinary, Finance, Supply Chain, and Technology stakeholders, the Workstream Lead will define future-state inventory processes, guide solution design decisions, and ensure successful adoption of inventory management capabilities that improve operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, food cost controls, and business performance. This role combines deep restaurant operations expertise with technology implementation leadership and is responsible for delivering inventory solutions that seamlessly integrate with Oracle Simphony, Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Retail, and enterprise reporting platforms. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving deployment readiness, supporting restaurant rollouts, and ensuring inventory management processes are scalable, repeatable, and aligned to business objectives across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 8+ years in restaurant/QSR technology (inventory, POS, menu/recipe systems).
  • Hands-on expertise with Simphony Inventory and recipe costing.
  • Strong BOH process knowledge including prep, receiving, counts, modifiers, and waste.
  • Experience leading global solution design sessions for ingredient-level inventory, recipe costing, prep workflows, and COGS visibility.
  • 10+ years delivering in Agile/SAFe environments.
  • Experience integrating POS with ERP and financial systems.
  • Multi-unit restaurant rollout experience.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion ERP and/or Oracle Retail.
  • Understanding of cost accounting, COGS, yield management, and kitchen operations.
  • Experience with API/middleware platforms such as OIC, MuleSoft, or Boomi.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Simphony Inventory workstream from design through deployment, including backlog management, story refinement, sprint planning, execution, testing, and rollout readiness.
  • Lead the design and implementation of back-of-house (BOH) inventory processes, including ingredient management, recipe costing, yield management, production/prep workflows, receiving, inventory counts, and waste tracking.
  • Partner with Culinary, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable inventory management solutions and configuration requirements.
  • Drive solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities across pilot and multi-site restaurant rollout waves.
  • Oversee integrations between Oracle MICROS Simphony, Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Retail, and enterprise data and analytics platforms to ensure accurate inventory, costing, and operational reporting.
  • Validate recipe costs, ingredient yields, inventory controls, and cost rollups to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout implementation and deployment.
  • Support organizational readiness, user training, adoption activities, and post-go-live stabilization to drive successful business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, reduce variances, strengthen controls, and enhance operational efficiency across restaurant locations.
  • Collaborate with technical, functional, and business teams to resolve issues, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for restaurant inventory management, recipe costing, and BOH operations while supporting continuous process improvement and best practice adoption across the enterprise.
