About The Position

The Oracle SCM Inventory Functional Lead provides end-to-end solutions that address clients’ business requirements and solve business problems using Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud, specifically the Inventory module. The role leads requirements workshops, documents future-state processes and fit-to-standard decisions, and designs and configures Oracle SCM Inventory solutions across Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud. The specialist drives solution validation, including functional test strategy, SIT/UAT support, defect triage, and resolution coordination. They own functional design artifacts and support knowledge transfer, partner with technical teams on integrations and conversions, and help define data mappings and reconciliation approaches. The role also supports cutover and go-live hypercare, manages priority incidents, communicates status to business stakeholders, and advises customers on solution options, trade-offs, and best practices. This is a full-time/contract opportunity based in the United States. The work is remote, with travel to client locations as needed. Compensation is based on experience.

Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on experience with design, testing, data conversion and migration, super-user training, quarterly patch updates, and product support in Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM Inventory.
Proven delivery experience with the relevant modules in Oracle Fusion and EBS.
Led at least two full-cycle Oracle Cloud Fusion implementations from project initiation through go-live.
End-to-end process expertise in medical devices, life sciences, and healthcare industries.
Ability to lead projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies and manage client relationships.
Strong functional troubleshooting skills and ability to translate issues into actionable configuration or technical fixes.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and workshop facilitation skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Oracle Fusion Cloud certifications in SCM, PLM, and/or Service Logistics.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements workshops and document future-state processes, gaps, and fit-to-standard decisions.
Design and configure Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud SCM solutions for the Inventory module.
Drive end-to-end solution validation, including functional test strategy, SIT/UAT support, defect triage, and resolution coordination.
Own functional design artifacts, including process flows, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and training content, and support knowledge transfer.
Partner with technical teams on integrations and conversions using FBDI/ADFdi, REST/SOAP APIs, and file-based interfaces; define data mappings and reconciliation approaches.
Support cutover planning and go-live hypercare; manage priority incidents and provide clear status updates to business stakeholders.
Advise customer stakeholders by presenting solution options, trade-offs, and best-practice recommendations.
