About The Position

Tessera Labs is hiring hands-on Oracle Fusion data conversion consultants for a multi-release conversion from PeopleSoft and other legacy finance systems into Oracle Fusion Cloud for a large US financial services client. The consultants will work alongside Tessera Labs' Forward Deployed Engineers and Mosaic AI agents under the direction of the on-site Oracle Data Migration Architect. This is a data conversion role, not a configuration role. Tessera's platform and AI agents handle extraction, transformation, and loading at scale; consultants ensure data is correct in Oracle terms by validating FBDI fields, mappings, loads, and reconciliation results. There are three openings, one in each area: Financials (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and chart of accounts); Procurement and Payables (suppliers, bank accounts, contracts, CPA and BPA, requisitions, purchase orders, receipts and invoices, including contingent workers); and Projects (PPM) and Time and Labor (OTL). The role is remote, based on the US East Coast, and requires a structured daily overlap with US Eastern business hours for live collaboration with the delivery team and client. The engagement is a fixed-term contract initially lasting 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension, at full-time capacity. The stated start date is immediate (November).

Requirements

At least 6 years of experience in Oracle ERP.
At least 2 Oracle Fusion Cloud data conversions in the relevant area.
Strong functional understanding of the Oracle Fusion data model for Financials, Procurement, or Projects and OTL.
Hands-on FBDI experience, including load error resolution.
Experience reconciling data with finance users.
Experience using PeopleSoft or Oracle EBS as a conversion source.
Good SQL skills for data analysis and validation.
Clear business English.
Ability to maintain a disciplined daily overlap with US Eastern hours.

PeopleSoft Financials source experience specifically.
Financial services industry experience.
Experience with automated or AI-assisted data conversion tooling.
Oracle Cloud certification in the relevant area.

Responsibilities

Validate and complete source-to-target mappings from PeopleSoft and other sources to Oracle Fusion for the consultant's area.
Define value mappings, defaults, and data quality rules, and review mappings drafted by Mosaic AI agents.
Work with client finance SMEs to confirm mappings and exception decisions.
Prepare and check FBDI files for each mock conversion cycle.
Analyze Oracle Fusion load errors and drive fixes in mapping, data, or sequencing.
Support test loads and full-volume loads in each release window.
Reconcile converted data to legacy data by counts and balances against the client's exit criteria for each mock.
Prepare reconciliation evidence and explain differences to finance users.
Support business validation and sign-off.
Provide Mosaic AI agents with functional context and correct gaps or misreadings in AI output before it reaches the client.
