Oracle eBusiness Suite - Programmer Analyst 3
About The Position
This Programmer Analyst position will serve as one of two senior developers for the HR and Financial Oracle E-Business Suite application. The role is part of a four-person team using Agile development to process complex backlog items and support daily operations. The Programmer Analyst translates formal and informal requirements into database and application solutions, working independently and collaboratively. Adaptability and effective communication with customers and coworkers are essential. The position requires compliance with system development policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, including coding standards and reviews. Work must be fully documented, with technology turnover provided to other staff. The role is onsite in Richmond, Virginia, with three required office days each week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 or above in Linux server environments hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- 8 years of experience with Oracle EBS development and implementation, including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Purchasing.
- 8 years of experience with Oracle iRecruitment, Human Resources, and Time and Labor modules.
- 8 years of experience with Oracle Developer Suite (Forms/Reports), JDeveloper (Java), Workflow Builder, and PL/SQL.
- 8 years of experience in systems analysis and design.
- 8 years of experience with Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, and Office applications.
- 8 years of analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- 8 years of verbal and written communication skills.
- 8 years of ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- 8 years of being self-motivated and self-directed.
- Ability to adapt to change and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
Nice To Haves
- 8 years of experience with Azure DevOps.
- 8 years of experience with the VA Cardinal HR and/or Financial System.
- 8 years of experience with Power BI paginated reports, desktop reports, and dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Execute application development for Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2 or above, including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing, iRecruitment, Human Resources, and Time and Labor modules.
- Gather and analyze business requirements through interviews and observations to develop and modify program applications using Oracle application standards and tools.
- Perform complex system administration, maintenance, and support for production systems.
- Design, develop, modify, test, debug, and implement programs and systems.
- Develop and execute unit and system testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Define input and output requirements and support turnover of program changes into the production system.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
- Comply with system development policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, including coding standards and reviews.
- Fully document work performed and provide technology turnover to other staff.
