OR Staff Nurse BWH
About The Position
The OR Staff Nurse works as part of the internationally recognized surgical team at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a world-class academic medical center and major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. The operating room is a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment supporting complex surgical care. BWH has 47 operating rooms, including one Hybrid OR and two AMIGO rooms, and programs in burn and trauma surgery, comprehensive stroke care, cardiac surgery, lung and renal transplantation, robotic surgery, and a broad range of complex surgical specialties. The nurse works alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and nurses to support surgical treatments and medical discoveries.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current registration in Massachusetts.
- Two years of operating room experience required.
- Newly licensed nurses must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
- Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
