About The Position

US Fertility is seeking an OR/PACU RN to join the Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area team in Menlo Park, California. The role supports patients through preoperative assessment, surgery, anesthesia or conscious sedation, and recovery, with a focus on clinical excellence, compassionate care, patient education, and collaboration.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with one to two weekends per month and two to three holidays per year. Compensation is $65 to $70 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.

Nice To Haves

• Two to three years of clinical experience.
• Operating/procedure room or PACU experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and formulate patient care plans.
• Perform initial preoperative assessments, develop plans of care, and explain the subsequent phases of surgery.
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patients and family members.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed.
• Provide patient education.
