We are a private optometrist-owned and operated practice established in 2003. Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry degree
  • Licensed to practice optometry in Virginia
  • Experience with full-scope optometry
  • Proficiency in routine and medical optometry
  • Experience with OCT and Visual Field technology
  • Experience with specialty contact lenses and myopia management
  • Willingness to work with advanced technology for dry eye and MGD

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in aesthetics and skin care
  • Experience with IPL, RF, LLT technology
  • Experience with LensStar for Myopia Management

Responsibilities

  • Practice full-scope optometry, including routine and medical optometry with strong technician support.
  • Utilize technicians trained to assist in providing the best patient care.
  • Work with a scribe at all times for charting and inter-office communication to ensure continuity of care.
  • Perform Optos/retinal imaging for comprehensive patient care.
  • Manage retinal abnormalities, glaucoma, and other neurological conditions using OCT and Visual Field technology.
  • Provide specialty services including dry eye/ocular surface treatments, specialty contact lenses, and myopia management.
  • Utilize advanced technology such as IPL, RF, LLT for dry eye and MGD, LensStar for Myopia Management, and a laser.
  • Engage in a collaborative environment with doctors and staff focused on outcomes and patient experience.
  • Discuss difficult and interesting cases with other doctors.
