About The Position

EyeOptics Optometry Center is a trusted and well-established practice, providing comprehensive eye care services to the Elk Grove community. The practice is currently seeking a full-time Optometrist to join their dedicated team and help continue providing exceptional patient care. EyeOptics Optometry Center is committed to delivering personalized, high-quality eye care with the latest advancements in technology. Serving the Elk Grove community since 1981, the practice offers a wide range of services, including eye health exams, vision correction, and specialized treatments such as myopia control, LASIK and refractive surgery co-management, and dry eye management. With a strong focus on patient education and preventative care, the dedicated team ensures that every patient receives a comprehensive and caring experience.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
  • 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
  • Experience with vision therapy and ocular diseases and treatments

  • Perform eye exams and surgical co-management
  • Diagnose and assist in treating ocular diseases
  • Prescribe corrective lenses
  • Prescription dispensing
