Primary Eye Care Associates in Chicago, Illinois, is seeking an ambitious Optometrist who is excited to grow within a performance-based practice environment and be rewarded for their impact. Established in 1996, Primary Eye Care Associates is a thriving, patient-centered practice dedicated to providing state-of-the-art eye care in a warm and welcoming environment where patients’ needs come first. The practice offers a broad range of advanced clinical services, including scleral lens and keratoconus care, glaucoma and AMD retina management, dry eye treatments, myopia management, neuro lens, vision therapy, low vision care, surgical co-management, and continuing education opportunities for local ODs. With a 5,000-square-foot clinic, five exam lanes, two floors of eyewear gallery space, technician-driven exams, ongoing training, and a daily patient volume of approximately 25 to 30 patients, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing practice focused on clinical excellence, operational efficiency, faster eyewear turnaround, and expanded access for the community.

Requirements

  • Optometry license in Illinois

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive eye health and vision examinations for a diverse patient population.
  • Support the management and continued growth of the eye care team.
  • Work with advanced technology, including autophoropters, Optos, MPOD testing, digital slit lamp photography, LLLT, LipiFlow, Rinsada, BlephEx, OCT, virtual visual field, virtual Neurolens, axial length measurement, an on-site lab, and virtual frame try-on tools.
  • Collaborate with drug, equipment, and contact lens representatives.
  • Participate in education and training.
  • Help develop systems that improve patient triage and team efficiency.
  • Support outreach to local optical and medical clinics.
  • Contribute to social media and marketing efforts.
