About The Position

Reading Eye Associates is seeking a part-time Optometrist to provide premier patient care and eventually become a practice owner. This thriving practice, established in 1979, offers full-service optometry and medical eye care, specializing in ocular diseases, contact lenses, and eye emergencies. The practice utilizes advanced diagnostic technology and has a fully automated software-driven refracting system. The role involves comprehensive patient care, coding, and communication with other physicians. Support staff will handle pre-testing and examination support, allowing the Optometrist to focus on patient care. Approximately 60 patients are seen weekly. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong desire to learn the business side of optometry and is willing to take over the practice. Excellent patient communication, people skills, and the ability to mentor and lead employees are critical.
