About The Position

FYidoctors is seeking a Full-Time Optometrist to join their growing practice in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a busy, community-rooted practice with strong patient demand, modern technology, and flexibility to shape your ideal schedule. The clinic has been serving the community for over 40 years and joined the FYidoctors family in 2021. They care for a diverse patient base, including families and seniors, and are exploring opportunities to expand services in myopia control and binocular vision. The incoming OD will be supported by a strong, collaborative team, including licensed Opticians and experienced front-end staff. The clinic has two exam lanes, and the new optometrist will have their own lane. The clinic currently operates Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm. There is strong interest in expanding dry eye services, with future potential for IPL based on demand.

Requirements

Full-Time Optometrist
Licensed Optometrist
Ability to practice optometry
Willingness to work with a diverse patient base
Interest in myopia control and binocular vision services
Proficiency with optometric technology

Nice To Haves

Experience in myopia control
Experience in binocular vision
Interest in expanding dry eye services
Experience with IPL technology
