Medical Optometrist with OD/MD Practice
About The Position
Grand Rapids Ophthalmology is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join its practice in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The practice is a medically focused, collaborative provider of comprehensive eye care and part of EyeCare Partners, a nationwide integrated eye care network. Grand Rapids Ophthalmology has 12 clinic locations, two surgery centers, 12 ophthalmologists, and 25 optometrists, with an established patient base and referral network. The optometrist may focus on medical optometry, comprehensive eye care, or co-managing surgical patients, and will practice with clinical autonomy alongside an experienced, physician-led local team. The role offers modern technology and diagnostic equipment, trained technicians and support staff, and access to clinical expertise, education, and best practices through EyeCare Partners. Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary and productivity incentive.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical optometry and comprehensive eye care.
- Co-manage surgical patients, as appropriate.
