About The Position

The Optician I ensures that patients receive high-quality care by reviewing physician prescriptions and orders, helping patients select corrective lenses suited to their medical needs and lifestyle, and offering compassionate feedback on frame aesthetics. The role also involves meeting sales goals while addressing patients’ needs, maintaining frame and contact lens inventory, communicating with physicians about prescriptions and eye-related concerns, placing optical orders with a general understanding of insurance benefits, and adjusting and repairing eyewear. The position reports to the Practice Manager or their designee. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time.

• Perform eyewear adjustments and repairs.
• Place optical orders with a general understanding of insurance benefits.
