3rd Shift Optical Test Technician

About The Position
This role involves working per standard operating procedures in Testing Optical Fibers, documenting the manufacturing process, and performing basic equipment maintenance and calibration. The technician will assist in recommending solutions to technical problems, may help with the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment, and will assist engineers as needed. Cross-training in other areas is also a possibility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in manufacturing / lab environment
- Previous experience or practice executing delicate tasks with small, fragile parts
- Computer literacy including data entry in Excel
- Ability to see details at close range
- Excellent hand to eye coordination
